Savitribai Phule Shikshan Prasarak Mandal’s, Sinhgad Public School was established in 2010 at Korti in Pandharpur with the richly experienced Prof. M. N. Navale as the founder President, with an objective of providing quality education from kindergarten onwards, fulfilling the cherished dream of the community here for a school of proven standards and continuous attainment of higher goals.Sinhgad Public School was inaugurated in Korti, Pandharpur, by the founder President on 12th June 2010. Pandharpur is a pilgrim centre from time immemorial and is known as the Kashi of South India. The ancient Vitthal Temple, the abode of Shree Vitthal and Rukmini is visited by several lakhs every year especially during the Palkhi festival in the month of July.
Korti, a suburb of Pandharpur was chosen for establishing Sinhgad Public School on a lush green beautiful campus of twenty two acres which is about six km away from the town. It also houses an Engineering college, MCA College and MBA college.
The clean, calm and serene environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the town, free from dust and heat, provides an ideal atmosphere for teaching and learning.
The School got sanction for Composite Provisional Affiliation for Secondary School Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.), New Delhi for a period of three years w. e. f 01/04/2011 to 31/03/14.
The school is affiliated with C.B.S.E. and follows the courses and rules lay down by it. The school has adopted books based on C.B.S.E. and N.C.E.R.T. (Govt. of India)
